Fill a layout with the amount you actually need: a 20-word caption, three sentences, or several paragraphs. Switching the unit avoids generating a wall of dummy copy you then delete, which is the usual waste with one-size Lorem generators.
Number each line when the mock is a script, a legal-style block, or a review where people will refer to “line 4”. Leave numbers off for ordinary paragraph filler in Figma or a CMS so the placeholder looks like real body copy.
Keep the familiar first sentence when stakeholders expect traditional dummy copy. Turn it off if you want a block that does not announce itself in the first three words. Word, character, and paragraph stats update with the output.
