Week and year from the last four (or three) DOT digits
Paste the DOT date group from the sidewall — typically the last four digits of the TIN (WWYY, week 01–52 and year). Older three-digit WWY codes are recognized as ambiguous decade. You get manufacture week, year, and age without decoding the plant code by hand.
