Type the load index from the sidewall (the 91 in 91H, or the 121/118 on an LT) and get certified load capacity per tire in kg and lb. That is the table shops use to confirm a replacement is not a downgrade from OE.
Besides a single tire, you see two-tire (axle) capacity and a four-tire total in pounds. Use the axle figure when you are thinking about GAWR, and the set total as a rough check against GVWR — it is still not a substitute for the vehicle’s published ratings.
Capacities come from the ETRTO load-index table encoded in the tool, not from a specific tire model’s extra-load claim beyond the index. XL/reinforced tires use a higher index on the sidewall — look up that number, not the SL tire it replaced.

The table covers the common passenger and light-truck range. Invalid or empty input does not invent a capacity.
Per-tire kg/lb is the certified figure. Axle and set totals are that value times two or four — still check the vehicle GAWR/GVWR.
Replacements should meet or exceed OE load index. Width and diameter can match while load index drops — that is a miss.
