Type a pattern as NxPCD — 5x114.3, 5x4.5", or 6x139.7 — and get lug count plus pitch circle diameter in both millimetres and inches. A PCD of 4.5 inches is 114.3 mm; the converter stops you from ordering 5x114.3 wheels for a 5x4.75 hub because a forum used the other unit.
Turn on A versus B when a listing is in inches and your hub is in millimetres. A match is a PCD delta of 0.15 mm or less — close enough for manufacturing rounding, not a 5x120 pretending to be 5x114.3. Lug count must agree; a 5-lug wheel will not bolt to a 6-lug hub.
Lugs 4–10 and PCD about 80–220 mm cover passenger and light-truck wheels. The normalized string is what shops expect. This is pattern only: it does not measure lug-to-lug with a tape, and it does not check center bore, offset, or brake clearance.
